2015 SAG Awards Red Carpet: The night’s standout looks
Posted on January 26 2015
The always stunning Lupita Nyong’o upped the stakes in a bold print Elie Saab gown.
The Glitz and glamour of awards season continued tonight with the Screen Actors Guild Awards taking over the Shrine Exposition Hall in Los Angeles. The best part about the SAG Awards is that the red carpet style is not as stuffy as the Oscars, Golden Globe Awards or even Emmys.
Emma Stone officially takes this season’s title for biggest risk taker. First she stunned at the Golden Globes in a Lanvin jumpsuit, then she opted for a tux / dress Dior Haute Couture number tonight. We can’t wait to see her choice at the Oscars.
The stars let loose a little bit and we tend to see some more risk taking on the red carpet. That being said, tonight’s looks didn’t disappoint. From gorgeous and unusual prints courtesy of the beautiful Lupita Nyong’o to the always elegant Felicity Jones and this season’s top risk taker–Emma Stone, our list of stand out looks is filled with one fantastic style moment after another.
Felicity Jones was elegant and chic in pink Balenciaga.
Reese Witherspoon had a “white moment” in custom Giorgio Armani.
Game of Thrones’ Natalie Dormer was gorgeous is a one-shouldered water color print Naeem Khan gown.
Gretchen Mol opted for some retro sleeves and looked every inch the elegant lady.
Emmy Rossum’s gray lace was a modern day take on an ice princess look.
Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting continued this season’s lust for red in an understated and belted Romona Keveza column gown.
Sofia Vergara showed off her figure in red hot Donna Karan Atelier.
Julianne Moore has mastered the art of color and this emerald green Givenchy Haute Couture look played off her porcelain skin and red hair perfectly.
